Balanced scorecard as a basis for improving the quality of public administration

The article is concerned with feasibility of using Balanced Scorecard in the public sector. Creation of a tool assessing the main areas of organization's activities on the basis of the key performance indicators contributes to making informed, timely management decisions, as well as achieving the principles of the Budget Code of the Russian Federation and other normative legal acts regulating activities of the agency, fulfillment of its public function and improvement of public administration quality.
