This article is dealt with forestry scenarios elaboration with realization of matrix method of modeling. Development of forecast for forest resources increase - decrease ratios in long and short run perspectives is proposed. As a result of investigation two ecology based scenarios were recommended. As a result of the forest resources utilization the general improvement of environment is expected. Ecology based rates of the forest resources harvesting and scientifically approved net of the strictly protected areas creates sustainability of Novgorod region environment.
