Segmentation of contemporary labour market: theoretical and methodological approach

The article raises a question of urgent need for new theoretical and methodological approaches to segmentation of the labour market. The author defines factors influencing resource markets’ development, substantiates potential-considering approach to the labour market segmentation, distinguishes special segments at the labour market, and discusses the necessity of employing members of peripheral and marginal segments of the labour market in the labourshortage areas.
