Seismic potential of Timan-Severouralsk region

Mapping of seismic hazard has obvious scientific and practical importance. Recently, of particular relevance this problem has for regions where the number of earthquakes is not enough for to use standard methods of seismic hazard. Timan-Severouralsk region has low seismic activity. Determination of seismic hazard of this region was conducted by the previously developed of the technique for identifying geodynamically unstable zones based on geological and geophysical data and the definition of seismic potential of regions developed by MIUBRUS.
