One of the most important and necessary aim during breeding project realization is to develop varieties, cultivars and F 1 hybrids possessing the resistance to pathogens and pests. Joint efforts of plant breeders and immunologists of All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Breeding and Seed Production (VNIISSOK) have been resulting in development new varieties, F 1 hybrids with combined resistance to Crucifer flea and other leaf pests.
