Selection of black-and-white cows by lines

The breeding stock of cows with high productivity used in JSC PZ Povadino belongs to the leading lines of golshinsky cattle. Individual interlinear crosses give outstanding results. The repetition and reproduction of such positive mating can serve as a large reserve for the farm to increase milk yield and the content of the mass fraction of fat and protein. This should be taken into account when drawing up long-term plans for breeding work to improve the productive qualities of dairy cattle. The paper pays special attention to bulls whose descendants are able to show record productivity for a number of lactation periods, taking into account the rotation of bulls of different lines and successful selection of animals with high indicators.
