Agriculture in the Bashkir territory in the middle of the XIX century: the economic aspect

The article examines the economic state of the Bashkir region in the middle of the 19th century. The presence of a huge number of land in the Bashkir region remained the focus of attention of the tsarist authorities, since the XVI century. The solution of the agrarian question and the resettlement of the peasantry was envisaged at the expense of economically poorly developed patrimonial lands of the indigenous population. The author gives a picture of the economic state of the Bashkir population, which was exacerbated by an increase in the new population.
