The meaning of the lexeme po-vidimomu in Russian indicating «sighting» results from the word vidimyi. However, this meaning was lost in the modern usage of the lexeme, which is determined only by hypothetity and sense of a logical conclusion constructed by the preposition po with the meaning of motivation.
