Semantic evolution of the word проект in the modern Russian

The paper is focused on analysis of semantics of the word проект in the modern Russian, revealing certain tendencies in the world-image represented by the Russian language. These tendencies include creativity, manifestation of strong personal role or authorship in one’s activity, perception of goal achievement as a process that is dived into certain stages (scenario), and orientation to success (result).
