Semantic features of phraseological units with the “cuisine” element in Colombian Spanish

The article reveals semantic features of phraseological units (PUs), as well as the reasons for frequent use of PUs with the “Cuisine” element in Colombian Spanish. The author identifies the specifics of the worldview in Colombia through the analysis of dialect peculiarity of PUs. The article provides examples and analysis of the most frequently used components of PUs. The author reveals the relation between the lexis of PUs and everyday life and traditions of the Colombians.
