Semantic field "Kill" in "Povest' Vremennyh Let"

The article deals with the semantic field theory applied to the text of the first Russian chronicle "Povest' Vremennyh Let". The author analyzes the semantics of action (completed and potentially possible) the final result of which is the death. The analysis shows that the semantic field of the term "kill" includes legal terms as well as common words and idioms.
