Semantics and functions of computer discourse in prose by Victor Pelevin

The article is devoted to an insufficiently studied problem of interaction of literary and computer discourses, particularly how computer and Internet technologies influence the literary text. The object of the research is Victor Pelevin's prose of the 1990-2000-s. in its evolution from the story "The Prince of Gosplan" (1991) to the novel "The Helmet of Horror" (2005). In the article the author traces the way the computer discourse influences different levels of the poetics of the writer: the genre, plot and system of characters.
