The semantics of blood in the poetics of acmeism

The article is devoted to the semantic analysis of the motif of blood in the poetics of Acmeism. The poetry of N. Gumilyov, A. Akhmatova, O. Mandelshtam allows to prove that this semantic motif acquires world-modeling functions in the Acmeism poetics. The image of blood becomes a meaningful symbol, allowing to reflect internal conflicts in the early works of acmeists, and the tragic unsolvability of the external (social and historical) conflict.
