Semantics of circle and traditional worldview of the peoples of Central Asia in context of the Buddhist religious culture

The article analyzes semantic images of circle in the system of traditional worldview of the peoples of Central Asia. The author means the orientalistic terminology for designation the territory of Central Asia that from time immemorial was inhabited by the ethnoses of the Tibetans, the Mongols, the Evenks and the Turks, but not the modern geopolitical designation of the republics of former Central Asia. The traditional worldview of these peoples is considered in the context of their adaptation to the Buddhist religious culture.
