Syntax semantics of time expression in English: verbal means

The paper deals with the problems of expressing "Time" in the English language brought about by the mixture of different heterogeneous phenomena meant under the general notion of "Time" in classical grammars. Traditionally the category of "Time" involved various dissimilar ideas of "Time" and "Aspect" introduced by the classical grammar approach towards the representation of the linguistic notion of time. The problem still causes ambiguous interpretations of expressing "Time" in the language. The paper gives the interpretation of the verbal means of expressing "tense" and recommendations to learners of English to overcome those difficulties.
