Family issue in the work of V. V. Rozanova

Family issue as a concept appears in Russian literature at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. A special role in posing this issue was played by Vasily Vasilievich Rozanov. The work of V. V. Rozanov in the framework of the family issue has been repeatedly considered in the works of other authors. However, the author of this article to analyze the views of V. V. Rozanov for family and marriage uses among sources the Notes of the St. Petersburg Religious and Philosophical Meetings, which other researchers of the philosopher did not do. In this article, the author identifies periods in the work of the philosopher in the framework of the family issue and considers the most significant works of V.V. Rozanov. In his work V. V. Rozanov initiated an open discussion of family and marriage problems and entered into an open debate with the Russian Orthodox Church, which for a long time kept a monopoly on marriage and family relations. The works of V. V. Rozanov can be considered as the first theoretical understanding of the concepts of marriage, family, gender in Russia.
