Semeiotic aspects of the Russian political agitational discourse (by the example of the 2003 election campaign political advertisements)

The present research dwells upon an attempt to apply the methodology of semiotics to the analysis of the political discourse. The sources used are political advertisements, broadcasted on TV during the electoral campaign of the 2003. Being the results of the current research, some semiotic methods of influence which a political TV-message produces on a large audience were revealed and classified by the author.
