Semiotic modeling in animal ecology

This paper.s subject is the description of the informative processes in terms of semiotics. We have been interested in information, received by animals through their habitat characteristics without any direct visual contacts with their kind. The signal field technique allows to split up the continuous information flow into quanta in which signifiers correlate with signified meanings. Since outer world phenomena may or may not correspond to the expectations of motivated animals, individuals. sign interaction with their outer environment serves as a structured system of meanings, and the scientific discourse including this interaction character description by a researcher is a social linguistic phenomenon which depends on its own structural change and reconstruction. The determining relations are set as "text", "context", "sign", "sign system", "semiosis", "motivation", "continuum of behaviour", "signified", "signifier", "message", "information", "adaptation", "meaning". Semiotic notions can be used in ecological modeling.
