Semiotic field of modern media discourse in social media

It analyzes the variety of content of modern media, which forms a picture of the world in various verbal and visual codes. It is emphasized that media texts broadcast on social media form a semisense semiotic field with various codes containing personal meanings, social stereotypes, cultural codes, historical memory, copyright intentions, etc. It is noted that the most important characteristics of media content are the digital format, multimedia and intertextuality/polytextuality. It is concluded that the social orientation of the media texts and social media themselves forms a special structure of the sign text with individual, linguistic, psychosocial and other features.
