Death semiotics in activity discourse

The article is devoted to the consideration of semiotic realization of human idea of death in culture, the way this idea is expressed by means of language. The assumption of death semiotics variation depending on whether death awareness is reflection of consciousness of an active and not active culture bearer is advanced as a working hypothesis. The term «activity» is originally interpreted.
