In modern conditions, the possibilities of tourism development are closely related to the possibilities of network science. In network science, various elements or participants in the process are considered, represented by nodes, and connections between elements or participants, represented by connections. Network science provides information assistance, which will allow the use of publicly available textual, spatial and temporal data. As part of the study, a network approach was applied to study the tourist destination of the Baikal natural territory, in connection with the problems of the overall sustainability of regional socio-ecological systems. The aim of the study is to develop an integrated network platform for the harmonization of such complex and fragile systems as the Baikal Natural Territory. The platform provides researchers and stakeholders with concentrated information that can not only be efficiently processed, but also understandable, correctly compared and implemented in related fields. Moreover, these and other data on related industries and activities, converted into a network form, provide great advantages for high-performance processing of big data. This platform will help decision makers to receive timely, confidential information about positive and negative trends in various regional processes, their interrelations and interdependencies. This will make it possible to counteract threats to the stability of regional socio-ecological systems in general.
