Nordic regionalism: background and development

The article is concerned with characteristic features of integration processes in Norway, Sweden, and Finland in order to understand the role played by the regions in cross-border cooperation. Regionalization of Nordic countries, united by the idea of «new Northern Europe», is considered a key factor of foreign economic and political strategy.
