The aim of the study was to identify the architectural and structural features of the cult ensemble (“church triplet”) and its location in the cultural landscape of the Pomor settlement (Vorzogory village, Onega District, Arkhangelsk region). Bibliographical, historical and archival methods were used, the architectural and ethnographic examination of the settlement was carried out, which included measurements of wooden buildings, photofixation, ethnographic survey, creating of village plans with location of the churches. On the basis of toponymic and archival data a conclusion was made about the separate (independent) position of the churchyard in the structure of the settlement, which was reflected in the architectural and spatial organization of the settlement.
