The North Caucasus archaeological expedition of the institute of history of material Culture/Institute of Archaeology, Academy of Sciences of the USSR, in the film documents of the IA RAS scientific archives (1957-1959)

In 2017-2018 film documents shot in the North Caucasus Archaeological Expedition ofthe Institute of History of Material Culture/Institute of Archaeology, Academy of Sciences of the USSR, about excavations carried out in 1957-1959 at multilayer sites such as the Verkhniy Dzhulat hillfort and the Zmeiskiy catacomb cemetery of the Alan culture (the 10th-14th centuries) were converted to a digital format. These materials provide important information on localization of constructions of the 12th-14th centuries excavated at that time.
