The research of seasonal dynamics of glass accretion density by microorganisms in the steppe ecosystems of the Western Transbaikalia was carried out. A great diversity of various taxonomic groups of microorganisms was determined, they were mainly represented by bacteria, fungi and algae. The certain regularities were observed in density of glass «accretion» (microbe landscapes) in different seasons. The higher density of microorganisms was observed in summer (in its second half), the most favorable season according to hydrothermal indicators (high temperature coincides with the greatest humidification) for vital activities of microorganisms in all researched ecosystems.
Fungi, bacteria, actinomycetes, "accretion" glass, "microbe landscapes", microbe communities
