Seasonal features temperature regime and moisture content of the soil in the burnt pine forests located in the south-western part of the Altai region

The research goal was to study the hydrothermal regime of soils in the areas of forest fires located in the dry-steppe climatic zone of the Altai region. Revealed that soils in the areas of forest fires are characterized by high values of soil surface temperature and low moisture content. Conditions for natural forest regeneration in the dry steppe zone of the Altai region in terms of soil temperature and moisture content can be considered critical.
