Chess as a game (philosophical and anthropological context)

The purpose of this article is to study the philosophical and anthropological essence of chess as a game. It is shown that chess can be characterized as a game that contributes to the manifestation and realization of human nature. Chess as a game: 1) is an activity; 2) are free, obey the rules and principles, limited in time, conditional action is assumed, there is a player (players) and means of the game; 3) competitive; 4) aesthetic; 5) form identity and individuality, but in some cases they can neutralize individuality; 6) have methodological significance; 7) develop over time. The same characteristics in general can be applied to human nature.
