«Generous warmth...»: the lexeme sun in the miniatures by V.P. Detkov

The article is devoted to study of the lexeme "sun", functioning in the miniatures created by the Kursk writer of the second half of the XXth century V.P. Detkov. The research is deductively based: from a general definition to a particular presentation of the lexeme. The paper provides an overview of the genre of the miniature, reveals its characteristics and peculiarities. The dominant of literary miniatures is imagery, the outside world coexisting with the inner world, associative relations and special spatial-temporal organization. It is deduced that the key semes of the concept 'sun' in the miniatures are "warmth" and "light". It is confirmed by a variety of syntagmatic relations with the studied lexeme.
