V.G. Zakharchenko boarding school for gifted children and its role in popularizing the traditions of the Kuban military singing choir

Issues of popularizing the traditions of the Kuban Military Singing Choir in the modern cultural and creative space of the boarding school for gifted children named after V.G. Zakharchenko are considered in the present paper. The paper emphasizes that the founding and establishment of this institution - Boarding School for gifted children named after V.G. Zakharchenko is inextricably linked with Kuban Cossack Choir. The culturological approach to the study of this problem made it possible to analyze the spiritual traditions of the Kuban Cossack choir and determine their influence on the educational process of the educational institution under study. Preservation and popularization of the Kuban Military Singing Choir traditions, manifested in historical, culturological, artistic and educational forms, reveals an extensive vision of the spiritual and cultural context of the preservation of folk traditions, as well as contributes to the correct assessment of the axiological role, place and importance of supplementary education in the field of arts towards the elaboration of modern socio-cultural space.
