On October 25-28, 2022 in Moscow, at the Institute of Russian History of RAS the regular international scientific conference of young scientists "History of Russia since ancient times to the XXI century: problems, discussions, new views" took place. This time it was timed to the 100th anniversary of formation of the Soviet Union. In this connection, the discussion of national problems, both in the period of the Russian Empire, and in the Soviet era, took one of the central places in the forum.
