The article shows the ontological characteristics of spirituality. Spirituality has its base: freedom, creativity and responsibility. The definition of spirituality is shown. Some aspects of the philosophy of Nietzsche and Schopenhauer are given. On this basis the implicit component of spirituality is represented.
