Silurian chitinozoans from Varna section

Well-preserved chitinozoans and conodonts were received from Varna formation on the eastern slope of South Urals. We described 5 species from 51 specimens: Bursachitina nestorae, Eisenackitina lagena, Conochitina mathrafelensis, Conochitina tuba, Sphaerochitina silurica and two taxa were described in open nomenclature. This chitinozoan complex is typical to the late llandovery - early wenlock and correlates with conodont complex from the same sample.
