The symbolical capital and the personal identity

The article considers the role of the symbolical capital in the formation and support of the personal identity. The author discusses various forms of application of individual and public symbolical capital, including in social virtual communities. The paper deals with the functions of the symbolical capital in socialization and development of the personal identity as a basis supporting the integrity of modern social systems, development of innovative and creative identity.
