The colour symbolism in the art of Ancient Egypt

The article studies the questions of symbolization - the process of investment of art phenomena with figurative meaning - by case study of the Ancient Egypt's art. This subject matter is discussed in the framework of the dialectic research method revealing the unity and the variety of the colour symbolism signs in Ancient Egypt, and in the framework of the semiotics analysis allowing to study the language of the colour hierarchical system of the Ancient Egypt art as a symbolical formation. The research conception considers the art as specific symbolic activities, which allows the author to create an image of person and his value orientations of the Ancient Egypt time.
