Symbols of religious culture as symbols of faith are formed, evolved and mutated in the process of historical and cultural transformations and socio-political modernization. Analyzing many aspects of the ethnic specifics of the Mongolian peoples and their ethno-confessional and ethno-cultural environment, the author concludes that the Mongolian metaethnic community (Hamag Mongol) sufficiently organically embraced Buddhist theory and practice. As modern science evidences, the phenomenon of socio-political adaptation of Buddhism by the entire Mongolosphere in many ways changed their mental parameters and characteristics.
