Synergic anthropology as an effective method of text analysis (F. M. Dostoevsky's "The landlady")

The author employs the method of text analysis based on the category of Anthropological Border developed by the outstanding Russian philosopher and Cultural Studies scholar S.S. Khoruzhy. Due to this category, it is possible to build up the personage anthropology adequate for Dostoevsky's artistic world: the anthropology would include Ontological Man, Limitless Man, Ontical Man (unconscious), and Virtual Man. The typological similarity of Ordynov, the hero of Dostoevsky's long short story The Landlady and a contemporary computer fan is revealed.
