Synthesis of a business process management mechanism for industrial enterprises in the context of digital transformation

The aim of the study is to synthesize a business process management mechanism in the context of digital transformation, the implementation of which will ensure the achievement of digital maturity of industrial enterprises by changing, improving and optimizing business processes. The proposed business process management mechanism embodies an integration of scientific and methodological propositions into managerial practice, grounded on a systematic approach and employing methods of economic-mathematical modeling, integral estimation, correlation-regression analysis, and forecasting. This mechanism serves as an adjunct to the existing management system and is designed as an auxiliary module that interfaces with it, executing the functions of managing business processes in the context of digital transformation. Such an approach mitigates the risk of unwarranted complexity both in the management mechanism itself and in the overarching management system of the enterprises. The implementation of the proposed business process management mechanism into the operational activities of industrial enterprises will provide guidance with an effective methodological tools for selecting developmental pathways, aimed at modifying, enhancing, and optimizing business processes. This contributes to the strategic evolution and competitiveness of industrial enterprises during the ongoing digital transformation.
