Syria as a determinant of geopolitical orientation and economic concerns

The article analyzes the geopolitical aspects and economic concerns as the components of the Syrian conflict. The study reviews the role and place of Syria in the framework of the competition between Saudi Arabia and Iran for regional leadership. The article identified prerequisites for proliferation potential for conflict and intensification of the struggle for influence in the region. The results of the study indicate an object pursued by Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, USA, Turkey and Israel in the region.
