Orphanhood in Russia and in Krasnoyarsk region: factors, structures, tendencies

This work suggests analysis of orphanhood growth factors in Russia and the Krasnoyarsk Region. These factors are closely connected with the crisis of modern family, its rapid deterioration and poor psychological health of parents and children. The basic forms and tendencies of social orphanhood are exposed. Five stages of a gradual loss of parental care by child are singled out, and a forecast of the further aggravation of the problem as well as the ways of solving it are suggested by the author.
