BI-analytics system as a modern tool for monitoring the implementation of investment and construction projects

The article presents the results of a study of the monitoring system of investment and construction projects using interactive dashboards. With the increase in the number of projects, the array of analyzed data increases, which must be regularly monitored - to check the completion of tasks, compare the results obtained with the goals set and take corrective measures, if necessary. The tool used in the work in the form of a dashboard assembled manually does not allow to cover the need for operational possession of up-to-date information for making managerial decisions. In this regard, we suggest using a BI-analytics system. Based on the theoretical analysis of the BI-system and the stages of its implementation in the practical activities of enterprises and organizations of the investment and construction complex, the architecture of the dashboard formation using BI-analytics is formed, and the general effects of the implementation of this system are shown. The SWOT analysis conducted before and after the implementation of the BI-analytics system shows that the process of collecting information, forming and monitoring key performance indicators of investment and construction projects is simplified, and dashboards are transformed into a form suitable for effective work on analyzing results and making decisions to achieve goals.
