The article emphasizes a system of key financial indicators, which it is proposed to use to identify the possibility of an enterprise to act as a "core" of cluster. The enterprise of the "core" of the cluster should have high profitability indicators, performance indicators for managing production assets, and also be characterized by financial stability. Approbation of the proposed system of indicators is carried out on the example of «Uralkali».
