System of indicators of strategic planning of the development of the social sphere in a region

The article is devoted to the analysis of strategic planning in the social sphere of the Russian Federation region. The information base of the analysis is the programs of socio-economic development of the Republic of Buryatia. The author identifies fundamental changes in the system of indicators used in the section of social development in the current program of socio-economic development. These changes make it difficult to assess the effectiveness of the planned activities. The list of indicators needs a correction in order to be relevant to planned aims and tasks. The author proves the idea of necessity of clearing the relationship of aims, tasks, and actions.
