Confidential fares system as a way of Russian airline companies to improve their competitiveness

The article defines the role of confidential fares within the general classificationof fares for air transport. The types of discounts applied in civil aviation aredescribed. Based on the comparative characteristics of the two systems ofinternational airline fares and methods for calculation of the optimal sellingprices, we proposed the main principles of the confidential fares system for Russiancarriers.
