System of activity estimation of law enforcement bodies and its value for criminology

The article analyses specifics of modern estimation system in law-enforcement activity in the Russian Federation. The author reveals its shortcomings and proposes some measures on their elimination on the basis of studying domestic and foreign experience. The necessity of definitive refusal of the traditional Soviet theory of criminality determination is substantiated as a harmful factor that influences modern anti-criminal policy of the state.
