The article suggests a system of management efficiency evaluation based on criteria of region development sustainability, including the method of integrated assessment, involving the use of summarized and statistical figures, among which there are indicators of economic, social, institutional, infrastructural, environmental development, integral indicator of region development sustainability. The authors assess the sustainability of Volgograd region development as an example.
