System for prevention of transfusion adverse effects in subject of the Russian Federation

There were evaluated the materials about 36 transfusion adverse effects registered in Stavropol region since 1984 to 2009. Complex improvement measures allowed to increase safety in regional blood service. Adverse transfusion effects have not been registered in 2006-2009 years.
