The system of air defense of Stalingrad in the period of the Great Patriotic War: Historiographic and source study analysis

The historiography of air defense of Stalingrad in the period of the Great Patriotic War is analyzed. On the basis of the published papers and archives the studies, describing the force protection air defense and local defense, are systemized. The originality consists in the complex approach and the identification of the gaps of studying the theme that creates the basis for future scientific works of the history of organization of air defense in the wartime.
