At realization special soil protection the basic approach is finding rare soils, representing high scientific and ecosystem value. In Priuralie the factor of soil "rarity" is connected to bedrocks of the Perm period: limestones, marls, redcolor clay, gypsum, sandstones, etc. The soils, formed on eluvium of these rocks, have a specifical structure and frequently are absent on soil maps. We lead the register of a variety, identification and taxonomy of rare soils on the Perm rocks according to new Russian soil classification. Soils on limestones and marl eluvium are well submitted in all soil provinces of the Perm krai. Greyhumus soils on eluvium red-color clays, sandstones, conglomerates meet appreciably less often, their areas are absent on soil maps. With application of GIS, areas of assumed spreading of these soils in Perm krai soil provinces, caused by spreading of corresponding soil matter are allocated. For search of soil areas on eluvium of gypsum it is necessary to use the geological information since the soilforming role of gypsum is not reflected on soil maps.
