The comparative characteristic of traditional and modern materials of external walls is given. It is shown that improving the energy efficiency of low-rise buildings is possible with the use of multi-layered wall structures and the heat-efficient design is given. The variants of energy-efficient structures of external walls with ventilated front systems are considered, which allow reducing the resistance to air exchange while maintaining high values of heat transfer resistance.
