The article describes the methodological provisions for assessing the system fuel efficiency of combined heat and power plants (CHPP) based on fuel cells. It highlights the basic provisions for determining the system fuel efficiency indicators of combined systems based on fuel cells and gas-turbine power plants. The developed theoretical provisions make it possible to evaluate the system efficiency of combined fuel cell-based solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and to develop theoretical provisions for optimising the parameters of working bodies in order to justify rational schemes of combinations of SOFC and gas turbine power plants. The obtained results allow us to develop scientifically substantiated approaches to the design of hybrid power systems, providing the achievement of maximum system fuel and economic efficiency.
